Tour Sign Up: The Last Doorbell by William Parker

Would you like to participate in the bookstagram tour for

THE LAST DOORBELL?

Synopsis:

"What the bloody hell am I doing here?"

Ben's past was supposed to be behind him: debts paid, savings secured, and a collection of outrageous anecdotes that would amuse his friends for a lifetime. But under pressure from his escort agency for "one final favor," he now stands at a precipice, finger poised over a doorbell.

There’s a moment’s pause before his finger makes reluctant contact. He can’t possibly know it, of course, but this doorbell, the last, changes his life forever...

The Last Doorbell is an auto fictional novel/fictionalized memoir following Ben, an escort who had planned to quit and pursue a career on the stage, and his final client, Alexander, who ends up spending the rest of his life with Ben at his side. This much is clear from the beginning, but the journey is the story, and this story is told, from both men's points of view, over the course of several decades.

Please bear in mind potential trigger warnings for homophobic language, homophobic violence (brief, not graphic), AIDS, dementia, and a use of outdated, racist vocabulary (non-violent) from one ignorant character.
